Molex Sanchong CFPA Plant is seeking a Material Planner to support its Copper Flex Products operations. This role is responsible for material planning and work order management based on customer orders and production requirements, ensuring smooth manufacturing operations and on-time delivery.

Key responsibilities include verifying system orders, creating and tracking material purchase requisitions (PRs), releasing production and sample work orders, and supporting NPI material preparation and Engineering Change Notifications (ECN). The role also involves maintaining SAP-related master data, regularly reviewing shortage reports, inventory levels, and safety stock, and coordinating closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Warehouse teams.

This position belongs to the CFPA Supply Planning Team under the ISBU (Industry Solution Business Unit).

Key interfaces include Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Warehouse functions

What You Will Do

  • Order & Demand Management
    • Review and validate new customer orders and material requisition requirements
    • Identify material replenishment needs for production
  • Work Order & Production Planning
    • Create Mass Production and NPI work orders
    • Support IOT system implementation
    • Monitor critical materials and identify potential shortage risks
  • NPI & Project Support
    • Support NPI material preparation
  • Material & System Data Management
    • Assist in completing material-related data based on engineering requirements
    • Create and maintain SAP MM master data
  • Safety Stock Review
    • Quarterly review and adjust safety stock levels based on customer demand and planning assumptions
  • Inventory Management
    • Handle material issue/return and pending disposition processes
    • S&E (Slow & Excess) review with actions for inventory control and salvage

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Associate degree or above, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing material planning, production/material control (PC/MC), or purchasing is preferred
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to conduct professional material planning discussions
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Ability to adapt to demand changes, with strong stress tolerance and problem-solving skills

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience in FPC or electronics manufacturing industries
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multitasking capability
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to identify supply risks and solve problems independently
  • Familiar with PPAP, NPI, and supplier development processes
  • Automation or data skills (e.g., VBA, Power Query, Power BI) are a strong plus
