Job Description
- Investigate and manage marine cargo claims from notification through settlement.
- Review cargo insurance policies, terms and conditions
- Prepare clear narrative reports and recommendations to clients on policy liability.
- Identify and pursue subrogation/recovery claims against liable third parties.
- Maintain strong client relationships and develop industry relationships
Job Requirements
- Experienced in marine cargo claims, insurance claims, loss adjusting or a related field, and able to work independently.
- Analytical, organised and confident assessing policy coverage and liability.
- A strong communicator and negotiator.
- Comfortable meeting people, networking and building relationships.
- Someone who looks for solutions and is interested in improving how the business operates.
- Experience in subrogation/recovery and third-party liability claims is an advantage.
- Relevant insurance, maritime or professional qualifications are advantageous.
