Job Description

Join an innovative European life sciences company as we expand our Taiwan operations! We&aposre seeking a dynamic People & Culture Manager to build our HR function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape the people strategy for our growing team in Taiwan, while collaborating closely with our established German headquarters team.

What You&aposll Do

Build & Lead HR Operations

  • Design and implement comprehensive HR processes from the ground up
  • Handle all HR administration, recruitment, and employee development initiatives
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all Taiwan-based employees
Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with the German People & Culture team to ensure alignment
  • Work confidentially with department heads and the Managing Director
  • Bridge operational practices between European and Asian operations
Drive Innovation & Growth

  • Proactively lead people-focused projects including culture development and leadership initiatives
  • Identify and implement process improvements and digital HR solutions
  • Lead the implementation of our HR management system
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to measure HR success
Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Lead recruitment efforts to support our rapid team expansion
  • Create onboarding programs that reflect our company values
  • Support employee development and career progression initiatives


Requirements

  • Qualification: Degree or vocational training in HR, or relevant experience in people management
  • Professional experience in HR, preferably in a medium-sized international company
  • Industry: Experience with manufacturing, life sciences, or laboratory products industry
  • Bilingual Excellence: Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • HR Systems: Experience with HR management platforms (Personio experience preferred)
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Taiwan labor law and HR compliance
