About The Role

Ampere is looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join our growing People & Culture Team to support people operation and growth in Taiwan. We need a highly motivated people partner to help build and foster our company culture, support talent management programs, and take on a consultative business partner role within People & Culture (aka HR). This is a unique opportunity to be a contributor to programs that impact the entire company.

What You'll Achieve

  • Culture & Engagement: Work closely with the P&C Team and management to build and scale Ampere's culture and maintain our (already) high levels of employee engagement. In short, help to make Ampere a world class company where employees love to work.
  • Talent Management: Partner with the business to implement development programs & support performance management, change management, rewards & recognition.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as an advisor and coach to managers and employees on complex employee relations issues. Work closely with your client group on conflict resolution, coaching, supporting cross-functional teams and managers on day-to-day employee relations matters, knowledge of Taiwan labor law is a must.
  • Employee Lifecycle Operations: Provide primary support for benefits and compensation. Act as the liaison between the People & Culture team and the Finance / Payroll teams. Manage onboarding and offboarding, and compliance activities to ensure Ampere remains fully compliant in all practices and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with your client group to understand business strategies, diagnose current organization performance, and develop/implement plans to build high performance organizational capabilities
  • Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience to recommend improvements
  • Be a key member of the global People & Culture team helping to develop world-class people programs and capabilities

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business or a related field and 5 years of related experience; or Master's degree & 3 years (MBA preferred) of experience in client facing human resources roles with a combination of experience in the following areas: talent development, performance management, employee engagement, organizational design, employee relations, coaching, and/or change management
  • Excellent English communication skills - written, verbal and listening skills
  • Ability to function in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
  • Effective collaboration skills to work within a global HR team
  • Ability to work well across functions and international geographies
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking skills and systems thinking skills
  • Creativity, initiative, and a positive approach to solving business issues
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with employees, managers and leaders
  • Hands on experience in data analysis and insights - ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, government regulations, professional best practices and industry trends
