Mission
Provide end-to-end leadership for PCS mass-production programs, ensuring predictable execution from technology readiness through volume ramp, while aligning engineering, supply chain, contract manufacturing, and business objectives in a fast-scaling new business.
Key Responsibilities
1.Program Ownership & Delivery
- Own end-to-end execution of PCS production program for selected customer from manufacturing readiness through volume ramp and sustained production.
- Establish and maintain the integrated master production plan, including milestones, dependencies, and critical path.
- Ensure on-time, on-volume delivery aligned with business commitments.
2.Cross-Functional Integration
- Integrate technology development, manufacturing readiness, supply chain capability, and ramp schedules into a single execution framework.
- Act as the primary technical and operational interface between: Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturers (CMs), Engineering and Technology teams, Business and Product Management
3. Manufacturing Readiness & Ramp Governance
- Ensure readiness across process capability, capacity, yield, quality, and supply continuity prior to volume release.
- Drive disciplined ramp execution with clear entry/exit criteria and escalation paths.
4. Customer Interface & Program Alignment
- Act as the primary interface to key customers for all integration and production ramp topics
- Translate customer requirements, demand signals, and technical expectations into aligned manufacturing and engineering execution plans
- Lead regular customer program reviews, ensuring transparent communication on status, risks, and mitigation plans
- Drive resolution of customer-facing issues related to yield, capacity, readiness, and ramp performance
- Build strong working relationships with customer program and technical teams to enable fast decision-making and alignment
- Ensure customer priorities are clearly reflected in internal plans, trade-offs, and execution focus
5. Risk & Change Management
- Identify, assess, and actively manage cross-functional risks (technical, supply, capacity, yield, schedule).
- Own mitigation plans and executive-level visibility of risk exposure and trade-offs.
- Coordinate and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECN/ECO) and their impact on production, cost, schedule, and inventory.
6. Execution Transparency & Stakeholder Alignment
- Lead regular cross-functional execution reviews, providing clear status, risks, and recovery actions.
- Ensure alignment across functions through structured communication, decision clarity, and data-driven reporting.
- Escalate issues appropriately and drive timely resolution.
7.Operations Strategy Enablement
- Support definition of the PCS operations strategy for the selected customer, including make/buy, capacity scaling, and manufacturing footprint considerations.
- Ensure strategy is translated into executable plans and consistently implemented.
Success Metrics
- On-time ramp and volume delivery versus business commitments
- Schedule adherence to the master production plan
- Effectiveness of risk identification and mitigation
- Quality of cross-functional alignment and execution predictability
