General Summary
Join our MBB Customer Engineering team as a
PCIe Software Customer Engineer and play a pivotal role in advancing high-performance interconnect technologies for the next generation of
mobile broadband (MBB) product.
In this role, you will be the primary technical contact of
PCIe, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across leading MBB customers. The products include
CPE, FWA, and Qualcomm-branded modules.
You will be responsible for the
end-to-end lifecycle of PCIe integration—from initial device bring-up on various host environments to resolving complex link-layer issues for global customers. As the
Taiwan MBB BSP owner for critical projects, you will ensure the successful commercialization and launch of cutting-edge customer device.
Responsibilities
- Support PCIe board-level debugging and issue analysis during bring-up and integration on OEM designs.
- Work closely with internal development team and handle customers request and Q&A.
- Testing tool/script implementation for feature verification and issue debugging.
- Contribute to documentation and deliver training to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Master is preferred) in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
- Experience in peripheral tech area (PCIe is preferred) development and debugging.
- Familiar with debugging tools like protocol analyzers or JTAG.
- Experience in FWA/CPE devices or embedded system development.
- Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation, the ability to learn quickly, and must be a self-starter.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
