Part-time Speech Therapist
The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in research projects and related report preparation(b) providing speech therapy service to clients in various settings and (c) performing other tasks as assigned by the Department. Irregular working hours and duty trips (including to Chinese Mainland and Macau) may be required.
Applicants should have(i) a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Speech-language Pathology or related disciplines (ii) experience in applying for research ethics, undertaking data collection independently, research writing, and other components of the research process (iii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua (iv) excellent interpersonal, organisational and analytical skills and (v) the ability to work independently and as a team member under tight timelines. Registration with, or eligibility for membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Speech Therapists (HKIST) is preferred.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
