Part-time Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536822)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist inin vivo and in vitro molecular study activities
  • Conduct and assist with various kinds of assays following SOPs and safety guidelines
  • Support laboratory operations, including handling human samples, labelling, storage, and basic workflow organization
  • Prepare reagents/materials and assist in maintaining accurate experimental records
  • Collaborate with the research team to ensure timely progress of project work
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or above,preferably in Medicine, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related disciplines with at least 3 years experience in laboratory work such as exposure to molecular study
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered as Research Assistant I/II
  • Familiar with laboratory compliance and safety procedures
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Strong attention to details able to work independently and reliably
  • Hands-on experience in in vivo and in vitro research activities and molecular assays is preferred

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits, if applicable.
