Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or a health-related discipline (ii) at least one year's post-qualification relevant work experience in counselling or mental health-related work (iii) the ability to work independently and as part of a team (iv) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese and (v) a good knowledge of MS Office applications. Candidates with practical skills and/or work experience in counselling psychology, educational psychology, research support, or project coordination are preferred.
The appointee will assist with data collection and research support for a project related to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and her research team. Duties include (a) supporting participant recruitment and data collection (b) assisting with study coordination and project administration (c) preparing reports and non-technical documents and (d) providing general research and logistical support to the project. Working irregular hours and/or at weekends may be required occasionally. The appointee will also have learning opportunities related to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
