Part-time Project Co-ordinator II
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Part-time Project Co-ordinator II to join our dynamic team. The appointee will be responsible for (a) managing financial operations, including preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (b) developing and implementing fundraising strategies, including grant applications, donor engagement, and event-based fundraising, to secure resources for the organisation (c) ensuring efficient resource allocation to support organisational priorities and optimising financial processes for cost-effectiveness (d) building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including donors, funding agencies, partners, and internal teams, to enhance collaboration and secure funding opportunities (e) conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term sustainability and (f) performing other duties as assigned by the Director or his delegates.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines (ii) at least 3 years post-qualification work experience in Financial Management and Fundraising, preferably in a non-profit/ social enterprise, or a related organisation (iii) the ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and compliance, and familiarity with non-profit accounting practices (iv) experience in developing and executing fundraising strategies, including grant writing and donor prospecting (v) strong analytical and organisational skills, exceptional attentiveness to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities (vi) excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the capability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including donors, partners, and internal teams and (vii) proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
