Part-time Project Co-ordinator II
The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in the admissions exercise, including scheduling interviews, validating application documents, preparing recommendation documents, issuing admission offers and confirming offer acceptance (b) actively engaging and following up on prospects/applicants (c) providing general support for admissions events and programme activities and (d) performing any other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 2 years%27 post-qualification work experience, preferably in higher education institutions (iii) strong organisational skills and attention to detail (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) (v) the ability to work independently and as a team member with a strong sense of responsibility and (vi) high computer proficiency and competence in the use of database systems and electronic communication. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 1 year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
CUHK is organized into nine constituent colleges and eight academic faculties, and remains the only collegiate university in the territory. The university operates in both English and Chinese, although classes in most colleges are taught in English. Four Nobel laureates are associated with the university, and it is the only tertiary institution in Hong Kong with recipients of the Nobel Prize, Turing Award, Fields Medal and Veblen Prize sitting as faculty in residence.
