Hey Stranger is an international marketing agency specializing in helping e-commerce brands from Asia thrive in Europe, with a core focus on the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). We drive growth through a powerful mix of digital marketing, including influencer and social media campaigns, paid ads, and authentic UGC creation.
We are looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant to support our own brand marketing across LinkedIn, Instagram, blog content, and selected local channels in Taiwan.
This is a junior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys content creation, social media, and turning ideas into output. You will help us keep Hey Stranger active, consistent, and creatively present in the market.
We are a fun, international, and open-minded team. Our working language is mostly English, and we work in a flexible hybrid setup - sometimes together from the office or coffee shops, sometimes remotely.
What you will do
- Own and maintain Hey Stranger's content calendar
- Support planning and execution of LinkedIn and Instagram content
- Create content drafts in English, and where relevant support Mandarin or bilingual content
- Turn ideas, blog topics, and agency insights into social posts, captions, short-form content, or draft articles
- Help prepare and publish content across platforms
- Support simple content production, including light filming assistance for reels or other social content
- Monitor trends and content opportunities in Taiwan's marketing and business landscape
- Identify relevant channels or communities where Hey Stranger could show up more actively
- Help keep selected platform pages and brand touchpoints updated
What we are looking for
- Strong written English and Mandarin
- German language skills are a plus. As we put a strong focus on the DACH market, this is a great opportunity to apply and improve your language skills.
- Interest in content creation, social media, branding, and digital marketing
- Comfortable using tools such as Notion, Canva, Meta platforms, LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and AI tools
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage recurring tasks independently
- Creative, proactive, and curious
- Someone who notices opportunities, brings ideas, and enjoys making things happen
- Based in Taiwan and available to join in person when needed for content support
Good to have
- Experience creating content for LinkedIn or Instagram
- Basic design sense for social media assets
- Confidence supporting simple video or photo content creation
- Interest in agency life, branding, or cross-cultural marketing
