| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties including supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials including feasibility study and syllabus writing |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
| (e) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars, exhibitions and graduation show. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A recognised degree in Fashion Image Design / Fashion Communications / Hair Dressing / Make-up Styling or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and / or industry experience |
| (c) | Preferably with hands-on experience in the relevant field |
| (d) | Good presentation, teaching, administrative, interpersonal and team building skills |
| (e) | A high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua |
| (f) | High motivation for programme and new project development and |
| (g) | Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies would be an advantage. |

| Notes: |
| (1) | Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Part-time Assistant Lecturer at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
| (2) | Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |
| (3) | The appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
