Part-time Executive Officer II

Founded in 2005, the Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is an interdisciplinary research centre that unites scholars in the areas of research, education and community service to facilitate the development of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) overseeing and implementing the strategic direction of assigned project(s) (b) co-ordinating with stakeholders, including sponsor(s), partnering organisations, and advisors, to ensure successful execution of the assigned project(s) (c) monitoring the progress, quality, and cost of the assigned project(s) (d) liaising with the sponsor(s) on administrative matters, such as budget clarifications (e) compiling proposals and reports for existing and potential sponsor(s) and (f) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related discipline (ii) fulfilled the language requirements set out on the website: (iii) at least 5 years post-qualification executive experience (iv) excellent organisational, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills (v) the ability to work independently and as a team leader and (vi) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
