School for Higher and Professional Education (Chai Wan)

The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor degree programmes to VTC's Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree holders in collaboration with overseas universities. Applications are now invited for the posts of Part-time (Daytime) Project Supervisor for the full-time programme of BSc (Hons) Human Biosciences offered at SHAPE (Chai Wan) in the academic year 2026/27.

Subject Areas:
(I)	Research Design
(II)	Independent Project

Major Duties:
(a)	To supervise students research projects
(b)	To mark and provide guidance / feedback on students assessments and projects
(c)	To carry out academic related administration duties, including serving in academic and other related meetings and
(d)	To participate in school projects and functions, where necessary.

Requirements:
(a)	A recognised master's degree, and/or equivalent professional qualification in related discipline(s)
(b)	At least 4 years relevant teaching experience at tertiary level / degree level or relevant work experience in the subject area(s) concerned
(c)	Experience in research, dissertation / project supervision is required and
(d)	Good presentation skills and a high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese.

Notes:
(1)	Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2)	The post of Project Supervisor is at the rank of Lecturer.
