Job Description

Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi)

Subject Areas:
(I)	Law of Business and Carriage
(II)	Air Navigation
(III)	Air Reservation and Ticketing

Major Duties:
(a)	To perform teaching duties including supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement
(b)	To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration
(c)	To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials and
(d)	To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.

Requirements:
(a)	A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification
(b)	At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience
(c)	Good communication, teaching and presentation skills and a high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua
(d)	A good team player with a proactive attitude and
(e)	Familiarity in using Sabre Agency Workspace will be an advantage.

Notes:
(1)	Applicants with less experience may be considered for the post of Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer at the rank of Teaching Associate.
(2)	Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(3)	The initial posting is in IVE (Tsing Yi). The appointee(s) may be posted to other work location(s) to suit the operational needs.
(4)	Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment.
