Major Duties:
(a)	To perform teaching duties including supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement
(b)	To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration
(c)	To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials and
(d)	To participate in networking with industry/ industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.


Requirements:
(a)	A recognised degree in Applied Science/ Health and Life Sciences, preferably in Occupational Safety and Health, or related field, and with a post-graduate qualification
(b)	Qualification of Registered Safety Officer under the Labour Department
(c)	At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience
(d)	Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese and
(e)	Good records of linkage with the industry would be an advantage.



Notes:
(1)	Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2)	Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(3)	The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
