| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials and |
| (e) | To participate in projects and functions of the Language Centre where necessary. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | (i) | A recognised degree in English Language / English Language and Literature / Language Studies (English) / Linguistics / Education (English) / English Communication / Translation (English) or professional qualfication, preferably with a post-graduate qualificationOR |
| (ii) | A recognised degree in a non-relevant field, preferably with a post-graduate qualification AND a relevant English teaching qualification, such as Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma in Education (major in English), Teaching English as a Second Language or Teaching English as a Foreign Language or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA / Trinity CertTESOL and English-teaching certification recognised by TESL Canada) or English for Specific Purposes (ESP).A transcript with course details including the number of hours of instruction and practicum should be provided for consideration |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience |
| (c) | Good communication, interpersonal, administrative, presentation and IT skills |
| (d) | Good problem solving and time management skills and |
| (e) | A good team player, able to work on own initiative and willing to meet challenges. |
