| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties in the areas of Testing and Commissioning, Building Information Modelling, Piped Services and Fire Services Design, Sustainable Built Environment and HVACR Systems, Building Services Drawing, Construction Technology and Management, Electrical Installations and other engineering subjects. The teaching related duties include conduct of lectures, seminars and laboratory work, setting and marking students assessments, supervision of students projects |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
| (e) | To participate in networking with industry / industry attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience in relevant field and preferably in Building Services Engineering as specified in the Major Duties (a) above and |
| (c) | Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. |

| Notes: |
| (1) | Candidates with less teaching / industry experience may be considered for the post of Part-time (Daytime / Evening) Assistant Lecturer which is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
| (2) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (3) | Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
| (4) | The appointee(s) will be remunerated in hourly rate. |
| (5) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in other designated places as assigned. |
