Part-time Assistant Computer Officer(s)

Post A: 3D Artist

The appointee(s) will be responsible for creating 3D models for educational games, including modelling, texturing and animation of 3D characters, objects and environments.


Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Game Development, Creative Media, Fine Arts, Architecture, Computer Engineering, or relevant disciplines (ii) knowledge of 3D software such as Blender, Maya, and Substance Painter and (iii) self-motivation and the ability to work as a good team player. Having at least 2 years relevant work experience and knowledge of game engines such as Unity and Unreal will be advantageous.

Post B: Unity Programmer

The appointee(s) will be responsible for programming for educational games on platforms. Duties include (a) implementing game mechanics, integrating user interfaces, optimizing performance, etc. and (b) building experiences on multiple platforms, including VR, mobile and web.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Game Development, Interactive Design, Computer Engineering, or relevant disciplines (ii) knowledge of Unity and C# (iii) proficiency in Git and Agile development workflows and (iv) self-motivation and the ability to work as a good team player. Having at least 2 years relevant work experience and knowledge of Unreal will be advantageous.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
