We are seeking a highly experienced Paid Media Director (10+ years) to build and lead Positive Grid's world-class in-house paid media function. This role is responsible for developing our global omni-channel paid media strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon Ads, Reddit, and emerging platforms. You will architect the paid media operating model, establish experimentation and creative testing frameworks, and collaborate closely with BI to build a comprehensive data measurement system that fuels long-term, scalable growth. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role requiring a deep understanding of digital advertising, data analytics, creative performance, and full-funnel growth. You will be the key architect of Positive Grid's in-house media capabilities and play an essential role in accelerating our global DTC, Marketplace, and B2B revenue.
Typical Account abilities
1. Build Positive Grid's In-House Paid Media Capabilities
- Develop paid media team workflows, processes, SOPs, and operating system
- Establish cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, BI, Creative, Ecom, and Product
- Build scalable structures for campaign planning, testing, reporting, and creative iteration
- Incorporate knowledge of AI tools and integrated strategies into the paid media operating model
2. Develop Omni-Channel Paid Media Strategy
- Define the role of each channel across the funnel (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon Ads)
- Create full-funnel strategies for acquisition, remarketing, retention, and expansion
- Own budget allocation methodology using MER, marginal return analysis, and incrementality
- Evaluate and launch new platforms to extend reach and diversify growth
3. Build Creative Engine & Content Strategy
- Design Creative Testing Framework
- Partner with internal marketing team and creative team to concept, brief, and produce performance-driven content
- Establish rapid iteration processes to scale high-performing creatives
- Translate audience insights into creative direction
4. Develop Omni-Channel Data Measurement System(w/ BI Team)
- Partner with BI to build cross-platform reporting and attribution, including dealer sell-through tracking (e.g., Sweetwater, GC)
- Define KPI architecture across channels and funnel stages, incorporating off-site data tracking and identity resolution tools (e.g., Exponea, TripleWhale) to stitch user journeys
- Lead incrementality testing (Geo test, lift studies)
- Leverage analytics to drive strategic budget decisions and growth insights
5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Strategy
- Act as the strategic owner of paid media ROI and customer acquisition
- Collaborate with Ecom, Marketing, CRM, Creative, Product, and Finance on growth initiatives
- Mentor and grow the paid media team
Essential
1. 10+ years of global performance marketing experience across multiple platforms
2. Proven success building or scaling an in-house paid media function
3. Deep experience in full-funnel omnichannel strategy and budget allocation
4. Strong knowledge of creative testing, audience segmentation, and experimentation frameworks
5. Excellent analytical skills and ability to convert insights into strategic recommendations
6. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Desirable
1. Experience in the guitar, music, MI (musical instrument), or audio industry
2. Launched TikTok Ads, new platforms, or testing infrastructures
3. Experience in using Ads analytics tools like TripleWhale
While preference might be given to candidates readily eligible to work full-time in Taiwan, visa subsidies and compliantly flexible arrangements will be considered and offered to candidates with highly matching profiles and desirable skillsets.
