Job Description

Manage end-to-end overseas procurement by sourcing and negotiating with international suppliers, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and budget. Coordinate purchasing, shipping, customs, and warehouse activities to secure efficient freight, accurate import documentation, and timely delivery of goods. Monitor purchase orders, analyze market and cost factors, prepare management reports, and lead the team to strengthen procurement and international trade capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and manage overseas procurement operations efficiently in line with the company's budget and policies.
  2. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with overseas suppliers to obtain high-quality products at competitive prices and favorable delivery terms.
  3. Manage purchasing activities and coordinate with shipping service providers to ensure cost-effective freight solutions, optimize container space utilization, and ensure on-time delivery of imported goods.
  4. Review and verify import documentation, including Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin (COO), and other related documents, ensuring compliance with import regulations.
  5. Coordinate with customs brokers, transportation providers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth import operations.
  6. Monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and provide regular progress reports to management.
  7. Analyze global market trends, exchange rates, and import duties to support cost control and risk management.
  8. Lead, supervise, and develop team members to enhance their knowledge and understanding of international trade and procurement practices.
  9. Prepare weekly management reports and presentations, or as required based on business priorities.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in any field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of direct experience in overseas purchasing, import/export, or related fields.
  3. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication and coordination skills with colleagues and business partners.
  5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. Proactive mindset with strong ability to utilize technology and digital tools in daily work.
  7. Excellent command of both English and Chinese (spoken and written).
