1 Role Oracle OTBI Reporting Consultant with strong reporting, analytics, and implementation experience across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications

2 Required Skill Set • Hands-on implementation experience in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) reporting in both standard and custom

• Experience in developing OTBI analyses, dashboards, prompts, filters, views, drill-downs, and role-based reporting

• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion subject areas across ERP, PPM, Finance or related modules

• Must have experience in SQL, PLSQL, Implementation and Enhancement activities.

• Experience in report requirement gathering, report design, data mapping, report build, unit testing, and business validation

• Experience in BI Publisher reports, data models, RTF templates, bursting, scheduling, and report migration is preferred

• Experience in Oracle security, roles, data access, folder permissions, catalog migration, and report access troubleshooting

• Ability to validate report output with source transactions and reconcile report data with business expectations

• Ability to work with functional consultants, technical teams, and testers across SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have • Minimum 7+ years of Oracle reporting/analytics experience with hands-on Oracle Fusion OTBI implementation exposure

• Strong experience in OTBI report development using analyses, dashboards, subject areas, filters, prompts, calculated fields, views, and drill-downs

• Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting for one or more areas such as Finance, Projects/PPM or related modules

• Ability to understand business reporting requirements and translate them into report specifications, data mapping, and validated report outputs

• Experience in report validation, reconciliation, performance review, catalog migration, folder security, and role-based access setup

• Ability to prepare report inventory, functional/technical specifications, unit test evidence, user guides, and reporting deployment documents

• Experience working with testers for SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect analysis, retesting, and closure

• Good communication skills, stakeholder coordination, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ownership of reporting deliverables

Good-to-Have • Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting or analytics certification

• BI Publisher development experience including data models, RTF templates, bursting, scheduling, and parameterized reports

• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion SQL, OTBI subject area joins, BI catalog administration, and report migration between environments

• Experience with Agile delivery models, global implementation projects, and cross-module reporting requirements

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Lead OTBI reporting activities for Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation and reporting workstreams.

• Conduct report requirement workshops and convert business requirements into report specifications, data mapping, and build approach.

• Develop OTBI analyses, dashboards, prompts, filters, calculated measures, views, drill-down reports, and role-based reporting folders.

• Work with functional consultants to understand business processes, source transactions, subject areas, data definitions, and validation rules.

• Support BI Publisher reporting where required, including data model design, RTF template layout, scheduling, bursting, and output validation.

• Configure and validate catalog folders, permissions, role-based access, report migration, and environment-specific reporting setup.

• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare; coordinate with testers for test execution, defect analysis, retesting, and closure.

• Validate report outputs against transactional data and support reconciliation with business users and functional teams.

• Prepare report inventory, design documents, unit test documents, user guides, deployment notes, and knowledge transition materials.

• Provide regular status updates and participate in report walkthroughs, defect review meetings, and project governance discussions.
