Oracle Finance Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Lead with 8 to 10 years of experience in Oracle Financials implementation, solution design, integration, and support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering Oracle Finance solutions across business functions, ensuring alignment with organizational financial processes and compliance requirements. The candidate should possess strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Tax, and Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end Oracle Financial solutions based on business requirements.

• Lead architecture discussions and recommend scalable Oracle Finance solutions.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis and define functional and technical solutions.

• Develop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and design documentation.

• Ensure compliance with financial governance, security, and audit requirements. Oracle Financials Implementation Lead implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects involving Oracle Fusion Financials.

• Configure and optimize modules including:

o General Ledger (GL)

 o Accounts Payable (AP)

 o Accounts Receivable (AR)

Fixed Assets (FA)

o Cash Management (CM)

o Tax

o Subledger Accounting (SLA)

 o Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) Integration & Data Migration Design integrations between Oracle Financials and external systems such as ERP, CRM, Procurement.

 • Define data migration strategies and oversee conversion activities.

• Collaborate with technical teams on API, Web Services, OTBI, BIP, and FBDI based integrations. Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit, and IT teams.

 • Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements.

• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and project leadership.

Project Leadership

 • Lead functional teams across implementation and support engagements.

• Review deliverables and ensure adherence to project standards. • Mentor junior consultants and functional analysts.

Support & Optimization

• Provide Level 2 and 3 support for critical finance applications.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.

 • Drive continuous improvements in financial systems and reporting.

 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Oracle Financials implementations and support.

• Minimum 2 to 3 full lifecycle Oracle Finance implementations.

• Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance preferred.       

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
