Job Description

Overview Of The Position

BizLink is seeking a highly precise and analytical Optomechanical Engineer to bridge the gap between advanced optical design and mass production. You will play a vital role in high-precision optical alignment, fixture design, and optomechanical integration. By driving the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our cutting-edge optical products are highly manufacturable and successfully transition into stable, high-yield mass production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optomechanical Integration & Design Review:
  • Collaborate with RD optical and mechanical teams to review designs and provide DFM/DFA suggestions.
  • Establish optomechanical integration requirements and assist in the experimental validation of design modules.
  • Process Development & Optical Alignment:
  • Establish comprehensive optical assembly processes.
  • Develop high-precision alignment methodologies.
  • Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for optomechanical processes.
  • Fixture/Equipment Planning & Validation:
  • Design fixtures for optomechanical positioning, UV curing, hot pressing, and alignment.
  • Evaluate equipment precision metrics (Repeatability, Resolution, Day/Week Stability).
  • Establish and document fixture validation reports.
  • Trial Run Support (EVT/DVT/PVT):
  • Provide on-site technical support for optomechanical assembly and high-precision alignment.
  • Analyze trial run yield rates, coupling efficiency distribution, and failure modes (FA).
  • Establish reproducible optomechanical parameter tables and alignment windows for mass production.
  • Maintain mass production process stability.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Conduct mass production anomaly analysis and quality improvement [Cross-Departmental Collaboration]:
  • Co-optimize product designs closely with RD optical and mechanical teams.
  • Collaborate with the production department to set up line stations, deploy fixtures, and conduct operator training.
  • Define optical and mechanical quality standards in coordination with QE/QA.
  • Integrate optical automation equipment seamlessly with the equipment and automation teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in any discipline (Optics, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields are highly preferred).
  • No prior professional working experience is strictly required; highly motivated entry-level candidates and fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and methodologies.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) for technical communication.
  • Willingness and flexibility to undergo initial training and onboarding at the Hsinchu office for the first 3 to 6 months, followed by a permanent relocation to the Annan District facility in Tainan City.
