The Assembly & Test Operations team provides value add by: Adhering or ensuring adherence to relevant internal work instructions, safety rules and applicable regulations (e.g., EHS). Executing, supervising or managing back-end assembly and test operations:
- Die preparation and attachment;
- Bonding, molding, trim&form, testing, etc.;
- Organizing assigned stocks for parts, semi-products or components;
- Assembling according to plan, and using specific equipment (machines, specialized tools). Performing prescribed sight checks, functionality or general quality test routines and procedures. A job at this level: Applies generic skills to execute assigned sequenced work in loops. May utilize simple tools, devices to assemble (same) pieces to parts, in a highly repetitive mode. Keeps work place assigned in a clean state. Obeys internal work rules and environment, health & safety regulations, as valid for the workplace.
