Operations Executive (Business Operations)

Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Operations Executive (Business Operations) to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced technology-driven business.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with different stakeholders and taking ownership of operational matters. You will be expected to understand issues quickly, investigate the root cause, coordinate with the relevant parties and follow through until a practical resolution is achieved.

The successful candidate should be analytical, adaptable and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve day-to-day operational issues involving internal teams and service partners.
• Investigate operational cases, identify root causes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to achieve timely and practical resolutions.
• Support the resolution of issues and disputes between Customer Service teams and service partners/drivers.
• Analyse operational data and recurring cases to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend and implement improvements to operational processes, workflows and service quality.
• Support service partner/driver-related operations, including onboarding, support, compliance and operational documentation.
• Maintain accurate operational records, data and documentation.
• Assist with the implementation of new operational initiatives, policies, programmes and processes.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend further improvements where required.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams on operational projects and initiatives.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct research on relevant market, industry and regulatory developments where required.
• Perform other business operations duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Analytics or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in business operations, operations, analytics, strategy, consulting or another role involving problem-solving and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex or unclear issues into actionable solutions.
• Able to investigate issues objectively and make sound recommendations based on available information and data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Able to manage operational issues and challenging situations professionally.
• Independent, resourceful and able to take ownership of tasks from identification through to resolution.
• Detail-oriented with good organisational and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Able to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Relevant experience in technology platforms, transportation, logistics, mobility, marketplace operations or customer operations would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Singapore's point-to-point transport or ride-hailing industry would be advantageous.
