Job Overview

We're looking for someone who notices the discrepancy nobody else caught, takes genuine pride in getting the details right, and still wants to be close to the action in one of the most fast-moving corners of financial markets.

This is a hands-on operations role at a crypto-native hedge fund. You'll be a core part of the team responsible for executing our operational workflows trade lifecycle, digital asset operations, reconciliations, and more. If you're someone who finds disorder genuinely uncomfortable but thrives in an environment where the markets never stop, this role is for you.

You'll report into the COO team and work closely with trading, technology, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Crypto Operations:

  • Execute wallet management workflows across hot, cold, and MPC custody solutions
  • Monitor and document staking, bridging, and smart contract interactions
  • Own trade lifecycle processes: trade capture, margin tracking, settlements, and reconciliation
  • Support operational security processes and escalate issues as needed

Middle & Back Office Operations:

  • Execute post-trade processes including daily reconciliations, margin management, collateral monitoring, and trade settlements
  • Maintain data accuracy across fund admin, prime broker, and custody partners and push back when something doesn't add up
  • Own internal dashboards, operational reporting, and procedure documentation

Operational Execution:

  • Execute core business operations including compliance procedures and vendor coordination
  • Keep workflows humming between research, trading, compliance, and technology teams
  • Spot inefficiencies and drive process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Track and report on operational KPIs and process metrics

Technology & Infrastructure Support:

  • Liaise with engineering on system monitoring and incident documentation
  • Support business continuity testing and documentation
  • Help implement and maintain middle/back office technology platforms

Requirements

  • 5-7 years in operations at a hedge fund, trading firm, or crypto financial services business
  • Direct experience with digital asset operations custody, settlements, DeFi workflows strongly preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail; you're the person who spots the error in row 847 of a spreadsheet
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where things move quickly and priorities shift
  • Structured thinker who can manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
  • Strong communicator clear, direct, and proactive across teams
  • Exposure to exchange or counterparty operations a bonus
  • Bachelor's degree required; finance, technical, or business education preferred
