Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of inventory level management strategies for fab and related operations to ensure supply continuity while minimizing shortage and excess risks
- Establish and drive material health management frameworks, including lifecycle control, aging analysis, and mitigation of obsolete or high-risk materials
- Plan and optimize inventory turnover, improving capital efficiency through process improvement and data-driven analysis
- Lead inventory cost control and optimization initiatives, balancing inventory levels, operational risks, and overall cost structure
- Develop and maintain material demand forecasting and replenishment models, integrating historical data, capacity plans, and demand variability to improve forecast accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Process, Equipment, Procurement, IT, and Finance to align material strategies with fab operational goals
- Utilize enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, MES, material management systems) for inventory monitoring, analysis, and reporting
- Regularly review and analyze material-related KPIs (e.g., inventory days, target level attainment, material health, turnover, cost), propose improvement actions, and track results
- Support material planning, pre-build strategies, and risk assessments for new projects, new production lines, or new fabs
- Collaborate with global teams to align material management strategies, standard processes, and best practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience or knowledge in material management, inventory control, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with inventory level management, demand forecasting, obsolete material analysis, and cost control principles
- Understanding of material and spare parts management processes in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments
- Strong data analysis capability, able to derive insights from system data to support decision-making
- Familiar with enterprise systems and data integration (e.g., SAP, MES, MCS, or related material management systems)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive process improvement across organizations
- Effective collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders (Manufacturing, Procurement, Suppliers, Finance, IT)
- Good English proficiency, with the ability to participate in global meetings, communicate effectively across regions, and read/write technical or operational documentation in English
- Basic data processing or analysis skills (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or reporting tools) are a plus
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or related fields preferred
