Offshore Wind O&M Engineer

Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Offshore Wind O&M Engineer to support the operations and maintenance activities of our offshore wind projects. The O&M Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance plans, coordinating logistics, and providing administrative support to the O&M team. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

-Project Coordination: During the construction phase, facilitate coordination between the projects and the O&M team to support the O&M manager in reviewing and updating the O&M-related documents of the projects.

-Maintenance Coordination: Assist in the coordination of maintenance activities for offshore wind projects, including scheduling and planning of routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

-Work Order Management: Receive, review, and track work orders for O&M activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to assign tasks and monitor progress.

-Logistics Management: Coordinate and arrange logistics for maintenance activities, including vessel and equipment mobilization, spare parts procurement, and resource allocation. Ensure timely delivery and availability of required materials and equipment.

-Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation. Prepare regular reports on maintenance progress, issues, and recommended improvements.

-Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between O&M teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Ensure clear and timely exchange of information, addressing any queries or concerns.

-Safety and Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Contribute to the development and implementation of safety protocols and practices.

-Performance Monitoring: Support the monitoring and analysis of equipment performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues. Collaborate with the O&M team to develop strategies for optimizing asset performance.

-Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular meetings and discussions to provide feedback, suggestions, and recommendations for improving O&M processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.

-Training and Knowledge Sharing: Support the development and delivery of training programs for O&M personnel, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and best practices. Facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.

-Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the O&M team, including maintaining schedules, organizing meetings, preparing presentations, and managing documentation.
