About The Role
We're looking for a QA Engineer to test Network Operating Systems (mainly SONiC) for data center switches.
You'll work with software and hardware teams to make sure our switch systems are stable and reliable. If you're interested in Linux and network testing, this role is for you.
System Testing
- Test SONiC features on switches (L2/L3 switching, routing, etc.)
- Check system stability under different workloads
- Validate on both x86 and ARM platforms
Test Planning
- Write test plans and test cases
- Document test results and create reports
Test Automation
- Build automated tests using Python or Shell
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
Issue Tracking
- Reproduce issues, analyze logs, find root causes
- Write clear bug reports and work with engineers to fix issues
Required Qualifications
- CS, EE, or related degree
- 3+ years networking QA experience (Ethernet, L2/L3), 5 + years embedded system QA experience.
- Comfortable with Linux command line
- Can write Python or Shell scripts
- Some testing experience - can write test plans and reports
Preferred Qualifications (Plus)
- Experience with SONiC, FBOSS, DENTOS, or other NOS
- Familiarity with bootloader or Linux kernel
- Embedded Linux or hardware bring-up experience
- Data center networking background
