Job Summary:
We are seeking a commercially driven and client-focused New Partnerships Manager to accelerate growth through new client acquisition and partnerships.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end new business development activities, from identifying opportunities and shaping client conversations to building proposals and closing deals, while acting as a trusted advisor and collaborating closely with internal teams.
WHAT'D YOU DO:
Business Development & Pipeline Ownership
- Own and manage the sales pipeline, from prospecting and outreach to closing and onboarding.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers across FMCG manufacturers, retailers, and related sectors.
- Drive consistent pipeline growth and maintain accurate forecasting of opportunities.
Client-Centric Sales Enablement
- Lead discovery conversations with prospects to understand business challenges and growth opportunities.
- Develop a clear, insight-driven point of view on how clients can leverage Worldpanel solutions.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, with support from senior stakeholders where needed.
Pitching & Proposal Development
- Structure and deliver compelling proposals that articulate:
- The growth opportunity and business value
- Relevant data, insights, and solutions
- Lead or co-lead pitches, ensuring a strong, client-centric narrative.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate across departments to ensure flawless delivery of our growth solutions.
Market Development & Representation
- Represent Worldpanel at industry events, webinars, and client engagements to build brand presence and generate leads.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including content, POVs and market insights.
WHAT'D YOU BRING:
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, consulting, agency, or market research.
- Proven track record in new business acquisition and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into compelling client solutions.
- Experience engaging with mid-to-senior level stakeholders; exposure to C-suite conversations is a plus.
- Solid understanding of FMCG, retail, or related industries.
- Strong storytelling, presentation and influencing skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Experience working with data-driven products or insights-based solutions is advantageous.
- Fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English.
