Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Network Engineer role based in Taipei City,Taiwan. The Network Engineer will install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware in alignment with GJD standards and client requirements. The role involves monitoring network performance, identifying issues, and performing timely troubleshooting to ensure high availability and reliability. The Network Engineer will implement and maintain network security controls, support network design changes and upgrades, and document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions. Collaboration with cross-functional IT teams and client stakeholders to support projects, rollouts, and ongoing operations is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Job Description:

Installation & Deployment

* Perform installation, addition, change, and move (IMAC) activities for network and IT equipment. 

* Support onsite implementation, migration, and Day-1 operational support. 

* Conduct basic site survey, staging, rack mounting, cabling, and device installation. 

* Configure basic network settings for remote access and connectivity. 

* Prepare implementation reports and related documentation. 

* Support deployment and maintenance for equipment such as: Routers,LAN Switches, Wireless LAN & Access Points, Firewalls, UPS and related IT infrastructure equipment 

* Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, Huawei, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Microsoft is preferred.

* Provide onsite and remote technical support for customer environments. 

* Participate in on-call and standby support rotation (24x7x4 SLA when required). 

* Troubleshoot hardware and network-related issues. 

* Replace faulty hardware and perform firmware/software upgrades. 

* Support RMA handling and equipment replacement activities. 

* Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
