Job Description:
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise-level network, ensuring its high availability, security, and performance across all our global offices and data centers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and manage network projects from inception to completion.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and install various network devices and services, with a focus on global routing (Static, BGP, etc.) and switching platforms (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, HP).
- Implement and manage security solutions, specifically Fortinet Firewalls and security services, to protect the network perimeter.
- Manage and configure network access control, leveraging technologies like Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine).
- Manage and configure Wireless LAN Solutions (Cisco, 801.x, 802.11ac )
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, isolate root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
- Design and maintain connectivity to cloud environments, including setting up and managing Azure VWAN (Virtual WAN) and other cloud networking services on Azure, GCP and AWS.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network configuration, process, and service records.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent network design and operational practices worldwide.
- Lead global network projects, rollouts and infrastructure migrations initiatives
- Participate in ISO 27001 internal and external audits
Required qualifications:
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, EIGRP).
- Solid experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper or similar network vendors
- Experience with network security technologies, including Firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto) and IDS/IPS.
- Familiarity with cloud networking environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A relevant professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS) is preferred.
