Responsibilities

Key Account Management

  • Drive sustainable sell-in and sell-out growth across key Optical Chains and Modern Trade by develop and execute account-specific strategies.
  • Lead annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) with key accounts to align on strategic objectives, investment priorities, and execution plans.
  • Monitor sales performance, inventory health, and promotional ROI to anticipate risks and take corrective actions.
  • Strengthen long-term partnerships with key decision-makers at the national and regional levels.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities through data-driven analysis of category, shopper behavior, and competitive activities.

Trade Marketing & Channel Development

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies, including trade term, activation and promotions to maximize brand visibility and sales conversion across Optical Channels, Modern Trade, e-Commerce and Wholesalers.
  • Facilitate S&OP processes, forecast demand based on market trends, customer insights, and competitor analysis.
  • Trade Plan and budget management. Design and execute promotional calendars and trade activations to drive trial (first fit) and loyalty. Monitor promo efficiency using data analytics to maximize ROI and category growth.
  • Collaborate closely with local and regional commercial and enabling function to ensure consistency of strategy to execution.

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of four to deliver business targets with ownership and accountability.
  • Build team capability in commercial acumen, category thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Foster a culture of trust, performance, and continuous improvement aligned with Alcon's values.

  • National Sales & Profitability Targets
  • Sell-out Growth & Market Share
  • Forecast Accuracy & Inventory Health
  • Trade Spend Efficiency (ROI)
  • Team Development & Engagement

Skills and Experiences

  • Over 10 years of professional experience, including more than 3 years in management roles
  • Proven experience in Key Account (KA) management and Trade Marketing
  • Experience in Open Trade (General Trade, GT) channels is preferred
