The Lean Specialist drives Operational Excellence initiatives by deploying Lean methodologies, facilitating continuous improvement programs, enhancing performance management systems, and developing organizational capabilities.

The role serves as a change agent, enabling sustainable business improvements through structured problem solving, standardization, digitalization, and employee engagement.

Lean Deployment

• Deploy and sustain Lean Management System principles across the organization.
• Implement Lean tools and methodologies, including 5S, Standardized Work, Visual Management, Daily Performance Management, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Support alignment with corporate Operational Excellence standards and priorities.
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Facilitate Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Identify and eliminate operational waste and inefficiencies.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Support implementation and sustainability of agreed improvement actions.
  
  

Process Excellence

• Analyze operational processes and identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and maintain process standards and best practices.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and structured process-improvement activities.
• Support operational governance and standardization.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance indicators.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and performance visualization tools.
• Support digitalization initiatives that improve operational transparency and decision-making.

Capability Development

• Deliver Lean training and coaching programs.
• Develop Lean awareness and continuous improvement competencies.
• Support the development of Lean champions and improvement leaders.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and deployment of best practices.
  
  

Employee Engagement and Change Management

• Manage employee suggestion and idea-management programs.
• Promote participation in continuous improvement activities.
• Support communication, recognition, and engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Lean and Operational Excellence deployment across factory functions.
• Facilitate continuous improvement projects and Kaizen activities.
• Establish and maintain Lean governance, systems, and standards.
• Support operational KPI monitoring and management reporting.
• Enable digital transformation initiatives related to shopfloor management and performance visibility.
• Coach and train employees on Lean principles and methodologies.
• Lead employee engagement and idea-management processes.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Digitalization, and support functions to achieve business objectives.
  
  

Qualifications Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  
  

Experience

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
