Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the design and development of the cloud-native multi-mode database independently developed by ByteDance 2. Build an industry-leading cloud-native multi-mode database, focusing on system low latency, high availability, scalability, and supporting extremely high concurrent access scenarios 3. Focus on the optimization of storage efficiency, save storage costs, and support globalization and cloud-native deployment 4. Provide timely technical support for upper-level businesses, extract potential needs and optimization points, and continuously optimize the system in terms of stability, functionality, performance, etc.
Qualifications
1. Familiar with the system architecture and technology selection of distributed structured storage, with excellent coding skills, logical thinking skills, solid computer system knowledge, and rich C++ development experience are preferred 2. Have high requirements for engineering quality, have rich experience in system performance analysis, have an in-depth understanding of the development direction of multi-mode databases and related technology stacks, and have database kernel or storage system research and development experience is preferred 3. Have led the construction of platform-based infrastructure products, have a strong ability to understand and abstract business needs and scenarios, and experience in database products will be preferred 4. Have experience in the development of management and control platforms for distributed systems, and have extensive experience in the management, control and scheduling of multi-user products, and the stability construction of large-scale distributed systems. Priority will be given to those who meet one of the following conditions: 1. Those who have led or participated in distributed systems are preferred 2. Those who are familiar with RocksDB/Redis/MongoDB/HBase/TiDB/CockroachDB and other open source codes are preferred 3. Those who are familiar with Paxos algorithm and Raft algorithm are preferred.
