About the Role
The MTB TF Equipment Engineer role at Micron gives a remarkable opportunity to join our highly skilled team in Taiwan. Our position was crafted to support the ambitious HBM ramping project, empowering you to lead a team and take on crucial project ownership. This role provides an outstanding chance to work on PVD/CVD processes, ensuring our operations are flawlessly implemented.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and improve process conditions and technologies
• Upgrade process capability and reduce production costs
• Develop and refine process management initiatives
• Set up process parameters for various semiconductor equipment
• Evaluate, promote, and plan new equipment and materials
• Conduct analysis on abnormalities to improve yield
• Address tool problems and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with other process areas to manage and control process deviations
• Participate in extensive investigations of defect problems, collaborating closely with shift engineering and other departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Over 4 years of experience in PVD/CVD/Thin Film processes
• Demonstrated experience as a project owner in similar roles
• Demonstrated ability to improve tool functionality and reduce operational expenses
• Skilled in launching and modifying process management efforts
• Expertise in configuring machine parameters for semiconductor equipment
• Demonstrated expertise in evaluating, promoting, and planning new equipment/materials
• Exceptional abilities in resolving issues and conducting in-depth root cause investigations
• Capability to effectively carry out extended inquiries into defect problems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
