Job Summary

Algae Services is hiring a skilled Database Administrator with strong hands‑on expertise in MongoDB DBA and SQL Server DBA. Exposure to other database technologies such as MySQL and PostgreSQL is expected, while experience with cloud database platforms will be considered a bonus. The role involves production support, performance optimization, and ensuring high availability of enterprise database systems.

▶️ Mandatory Skills

▪️ Proven experience as a Database Administrator.

▪️ Hands‑on expertise in MongoDB administration.

▪️ Strong knowledge of SQL Server.

▪️ Exposure to MySQL and PostgreSQL.

▪️ Familiarity with Cloud Database Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

▪️ Strong SQL scripting and automation skills.

▪️ Knowledge of database monitoring tools and troubleshooting practices.

Key Responsibilities

▪️ Production Support for critical database environments.

▪️ Perform Performance Tuning and query optimization.

▪️ Conduct Health Checks and ensure High Availability.

▪️ Manage Partitioning, CDC, and database maintenance.

▪️ Execute Patching and upgrades.

▪️ Implement Security Management and compliance controls.

▪️ Writing SQL code is considered a bonus skill.
