Job Overview

Lead the organization in line with the board's mission, vision, values, and objectives. Define corporate strategies and plans; oversee and evaluate all business activities to ensure goals are met. Guide, develop, and appoint senior executives, and structure responsibilities to maximize performance. Oversee major initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures to achieve business objectives. Represent the organization at public events and with external stakeholders to promote a positive image.

Main Responsibilities

I. Professional Technical Skills

Expertise in injection molding technology.

  • Proficient in operating injection molding machines (e.g., electric, hydraulic, hybrid types).
  • In-depth understanding of mold structures, runner design, and demolding methods.
  • Familiar with the properties of plastic materials (e.g., PP, ABS, PC, PA, POM, etc.).
  • Skilled at identifying and resolving common molding defects (e.g., flash, silver streaks, bubbles, flow marks, etc.).

Process Optimization and Parameter Setting

  • Proficient in adjusting molding parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, holding time, etc.).
  • Capable of conducting DOE (Design of Experiments) and SPC (Statistical Process Control) to optimize yield rates.
  • Experienced in molding cycle analysis and efficiency improvement techniques.

Quality and Issue Handling

  • Able to guide the quality department in analyzing and resolving defective products.
  • Familiar with ISO13485 quality management system.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, FMEA, and other quality improvement methodologies is a plus.

II. Management Skills

Team Management

  • Experience in leading technicians, operators, and maintenance staff.
  • Capable of scheduling shifts, coordinating manpower, and managing performance effectively.
  • Strong cross-department communication skills (e.g., with mold design, quality control, sales, and R&D departments).

Production Management

  • Proficient in production planning, capacity analysis, and time management.
  • Practical experience in 6S workplace organization, visual management, and Kanban systems.
  • Able to adjust production and material supply according to order requirements.

Cost Control and Improvement

  • Proven track record of reducing defect rates, shortening molding cycles, and improving material utilization.
  • Skilled in analyzing and improving material consumption, mold maintenance frequency, and machine utilization rates.

  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Preferred qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mold Design, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields from a technical college or university and above.
    • At least 612 years of experience in injection molding, including a minimum of 35 years in a managerial role.
    • Able to read and understand technical documents in English.
    • Familiar with basic ERP systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong problem-solving skills, able to quickly identify and resolve abnormalities.
    • High stress tolerance, capable of handling urgent orders and cross-departmental pressure.
    • Possesses a spirit of continuous improvement (Kaizen) and innovation.
    • Experience in leading automation, Industry 4.0, or smart manufacturing initiatives is a plus.
    • Experience with simulation software (e.g., Moldflow) is a plus.
