Job Description

This is a two-year contract role (with productivity Incentive payable on top of the monthly salary) and may be extended on a one-year basis, subject to performance.

Please note that the advertised salary range reflects the estimated average gross compensation (base salary + productivity incentive) for a Membership Specialist who meets the monthly KPIs. Membership Specialists who exceed their monthly KPIs may earn higher total gross compensation through increased productivity incentives.

The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) is the national trade union of employers, representing more than 3,900 employers and the interests of all sectors of the economy. In the tripartite system, SNEF is the body representing employers and it aims to be the trusted partner of the National Trades Union Congress representing the labour movement, and the Ministry of Manpower representing the Government.

The Membership Specialist will grow SNEF's corporate membership base. The candidate is responsible for the full membership recruitment cycle, from identifying and engaging prospective members to converting and retaining, able to thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment and be able to work operate independently while collaborating effectively within a team structure.

Responsibilities:

1) Drive membership recruitment

  • Manage the full membership life cycle from initial prospect engagement through conversion and onboarding with a focus on sustainable, target-driven results to drive membership growth.

2) Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline

  • Proactively prospect through cold outreach, referral networks, and participation in relevant industry events. Maintain a healthy, well-tracked pipeline of qualified leads with accurate recordsand clear visibility on conversion status at every stage.

3) Analyse performance and report insights

  • Review recruitment outcomes and market trends to refine outreach strategies. Prepare periodic reports on KPI progress with actionable recommendation

4) Support the wider team

  • Take on projects and tasks as assigned by the reporting officer, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach to shared objectives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, or client engagement.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong sales mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite and HR leaders.
  • Experience in an industry association, trade body, or membership organisation Flexibility to work on weekends and beyond standard office hours when required (off-in-lieu will be provided).
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
