ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a newly created role to support our growing finance team.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Media Finance Executive to become the central heartbeat of our APAC operations. This is a critical hybrid role designed to bridge the gap between our high-performance Paid Media and Finance teams.

In this role, you will be the key point of accountability for financial integrity relating to media budgets and spend. By mastering our systems and streamlining the reconciliation process, you will protect our clients budgets and empower our strategy teams to focus on what they do best: driving results. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across APAC in to ensure business continuity and support our rapid growth in the region.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Stewardship & Reconciliation: Lead the end-to-end reconciliation for key clients across all digital platforms (Programmatic, Social, Search, Display), ensuring platform spend aligns perfectly with internal trackers
  • Validation of Actuals: Verify and actualise monthly spend numbers across all third-party vendors to ensure 100% accuracy before billing
  • Client Invoicing: Work closely with the paid media team to ensure completeness and timeliness of invoicing
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Process invoices and purchase orders and own the invoice lifecycle by mapping vendor invoices to campaign / media spend statements, monitoring payment status, and reconciling and resolving any billing discrepancies
  • Month-end Reporting: Process vendor invoices in a timely manner in order to facilitate the reconciliation process. Identify and highlight any discrepancies and work with the paid media team to resolve these
  • PIN System Oversight: Maintain and audit the PIN system, ensuring campaign creation is accurate and utilise the correct billing entities for seamless processing
  • Other adhoc duties where required

ABOUT YOU

  • 3+ Years of experience in Finance, preferably from within the advertising industry
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (eg. Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero etc.)
  • You are a self-starter who takes pride in data integrity and can spot a discrepancy before it becomes a problem
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must; you enjoy finding efficiencies and cleaning up processes to make things run smoother
  • Excellent communication skills to secure stakeholder buy-in and work with various teams to implement new processes successfully
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting
