Responsibilities
- Prepare construction drawings and technical documentation for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated designs.
- Design mechanical systems for commercial, healthcare, institutional, and mission-critical facilities.
- Support construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs.
- Manage multiple project assignments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and compliance requirements.
- Review and interpret project specifications, codes, and technical standards.
- Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection.
- Participate in design meetings and contribute to engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC and building systems design.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems for commercial or institutional buildings.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency principles and building performance considerations.
- Experience supporting healthcare, laboratory, or mission-critical projects is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
