Mechanical Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical fixtures, jigs, and tooling for RF and millimeter wave test stations.

Modify existing mechanical solutions for continuous improvement.

See the mechanical design through to completion by sourcing designed components and assembling the final solution.

Support the RF Test Engineering and Product Engineering groups to assure technical, cost, and schedule goals are met for implementation of new product test solutions and continuous improvement activities.

Support Manufacturing Operations with RF Engineering expertise and problem-solving skills to solve challenges associated with production RF and Millimeter wave testing

Coordinating cross-functional engineering activities as a technical for new product releases and continuous improvement activities.

Support prototype builds, validation, and troubleshooting during NPI and mass production phases.

Note: This is a non-exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. Other tasks will be assigned during the course of your employment.

Job Qualifications:

BS Mechanical Engineering or related degree Engineering or Physics

3-5 years experience in mechanical design using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD).

Familiarity with RF testing environments and understanding of handler/prober is a plus.

Capable of design and handle PCB layout for RF product testing is a plus.

Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, including written and verbal English proficiency

Must be able to instinctively use scientific methods to quickly troubleshoot complex multi-dimensional problems.

Must possess excellent math skills and knowledge of statistics.
