Job Description
Mechanical Design Engineer — Bangalore (Full-Time, Immediate)
Ci4 builds autonomous systems for national defense. We work on hard problems where engineering quality has direct national security consequences.
We're looking for a mechanical engineer who can own designs end-to-end: from a rough concept to a production-ready, fully documented assembly.
What you'll do
Design and develop complex electromechanical systems, SPMs, and robotics hardware. Drive designs through structured reviews, DFM analysis, and validation. Use 3D printing and rapid prototyping to test ideas quickly. Work directly with vendors and manufacturing teams, develop manufacturing strategies, and maintain rigorous product documentation. Take a hands-on role in assembly, integration, and validation.
What we're looking for
- Strong engineering fundamentals and genuine creativity — not just CAD proficiency
- Expert in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Strong command of GD&T, drafting standards, and manufacturing techniques
- CFD and simulation experience (preferred)
- A hands-on approach to designing, building, and testing
- Clear communication and the discipline to work in a small, fast-paced team
Qualifications
- B.E./M.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with SPMs, robotics, or other complex electromechanical products
