Job Description

A global retail brand is hiring a Head of Marketing in Taipei. You will lead brand strategy, deliver integrated campaigns, and drive performance across all channels, creating seamless online and offline consumer experiences. The role offers flexible working, strong learning support, and a collaborative environment for a hands-on marketing leader with retail experience.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and own the comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with overarching business goals and revenue targets, ensuring every initiative supports long-term growth.
  • Build, nurture, and protect a strong brand identity by overseeing consistent messaging across all consumer touchpoints including retail stores, digital platforms, social media channels, and key partnerships.
  • Lead the planning and execution of seasonal campaigns such as product launches, special collaborations, sales events, and community activations to maximise brand visibility.
  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns spanning above-the-line (ATL), below-the-line (BTL), digital channels, influencer partnerships, and public relations efforts.
  • Take full ownership of go-to-market strategies for new collections or categories by partnering with merchandising and product teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
  • Oversee all aspects of performance marketing including paid social media advertising, search engine marketing, display ads, and marketplace promotions to drive measurable results.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value by leveraging data-driven decision making across CRM systems, loyalty programmes, email/SMS communications, and personalisation tactics.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as return on ad spend (ROAS), customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, and retention metrics to optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Support retail store marketing initiatives through visual merchandising (VM), in-store campaigns, local events, community building activities, and strategic partnerships to increase footfall.
  • Leverage consumer insights from market research and trend analysis to inform strategy adjustments while tracking marketing performance metrics for continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • 812+ years of progressive experience in marketing roles within retail brands where you have demonstrated senior leadership capabilities.
  • Proven track record of success in both brand building initiatives and performance marketing campaigns that have delivered measurable business results.
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel or direct-to-consumer (DTC) business models with hands-on experience integrating online and offline strategies.
  • Strategic mindset paired with practical execution skills enabling you to translate vision into actionable plans that engage consumers at every touchpoint.
  • Data-driven approach combined with creative sensibility allowing you to balance analytics with innovative storytelling techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities demonstrated through managing large budgets as well as mentoring cross-functional teams towards shared goals.
  • Excellent communication skills enabling effective stakeholder management across internal departments as well as external agency partners.
  • Experience overseeing agency relationships including creative development, media buying/planning, PR outreach, and influencer collaborations.
