About The Role:

The Marketing Associate role will be based in Taipei and will be responsible for shaping and executing market entry strategies for Meitu and other group products in North America. This role will lead the planning and delivery of marketing initiatives that grow user acquisition, drive subscription revenue, and spark engaging social conversations around our brand and apps.

The right candidate is a creative and strategic marketer who combines strong local insights with a global mindset and hands-on attitude. They will translate cultural and social trends into impactful campaigns, manage collaborations with local agencies and influencers, and design both in-app and social activations that resonate with users in the United States and others. We are looking for someone who brings bold thinking, agile execution, and an ability to elevate both our creative excellence and business results.

In this role you will:

  • Develop user-centric, data-driven marketing and user growth strategies to achieve user and revenue targets;
  • Operate digital marketing tools, manage local social media accounts, and manage collaborations with overseas influencers;
  • Identify local market trends and user preferences, and work cross-functionally to implement localized operations strategies;
  • Develop and maintain local marketing and media resources, and manage cooperation and communications;
  • Manage the project execution progress of related interns/outsource staff;
  • Strong English skills; proficiency in additional language is a plus;
  • Foreign candidates should have basic Chinese communication skills.

We are looking for someone who:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with expertise in in-app campaigns, influencer marketing, and social media engagement.
  • Skilled at turning data-driven insights into effective market entry and users growth strategies.
  • Strong familiarity with video or photo editing apps and a keen interest in photography and creative expression.
  • Deep awareness of North American social media trends and ability to translate them into impactful marketing ideas.
  • Proven experience managing marketing agencies and building collaborative partnerships.
  • Agile, proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and communicates with clarity.
  • Strong storytelling and analytical skills, able to create campaigns that spark conversation and drive results.
