Marketing & Arts Workshop Facilitator Intern

We're looking for a creative, driven and people-oriented intern to join the Chokmah team!

CHOKMAH is a modern and sustainable lifestyle home & decor brand founded in Singapore. Our products are intentionally made with the environment in mind, while our workshops are created to connect communities through creativity and give people a space to explore, make and express themselves.

As a Marketing & Workshop Facilitator Intern at Chokmah, you'll have the opportunity to experience both sides of our creative business. You'll work closely with our team of artists/crafters on marketing, content and social media, while also spending time in our studio facilitating workshops and interacting directly with our community.

This is a flexi-hybrid role. Depending on the schedule, some days may be spent working from home on marketing projects, while other days will be spent in our studio working on marketing activities or facilitating workshops.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Creative

• Create engaging content for Chokmah's social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok etc

• Plan, develop and schedule social media content and campaigns

• Create short-form videos, reels and behind-the-scenes content showcasing our products, workshops and creative process

• Assist with photography and video shoots of our products, workshops, events and community activities

• Help promote Chokmah workshops, products, events and collaborations

• Research social media, content and marketing trends and bring fresh ideas to the team

• Help develop creative concepts and storytelling around the Chokmah brand

• Work alongside our artists and makers to document the process behind our products and workshops

• Assist with general marketing and creative tasks as needed

Workshop Facilitation

• Facilitate Chokmah workshops, with full training provided

• Guide and instruct workshop participants through the creative process

• Interact with people from different backgrounds and age groups

• Help create a welcoming, positive and enjoyable workshop experience

• Support the studio with setup, pack-down and general workshop preparation

• Represent the Chokmah brand and its values when interacting with our community

Desired Requirements

• Independent, responsible and detail-oriented

• A strong interest in art, design, creativity, lifestyle or sustainability

• Creative, curious and willing to experiment with new ideas

• Comfortable creating content for social media and keeping up with current trends

• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is a bonus

• Experience with short-form video editing using CapCut or similar tools is beneficial

• Good eye for visuals, storytelling and presentation

• Comfortable speaking to and interacting with people

• Warm, kind and compassionate, with a genuine interest in working with people

• Good work ethic and willingness to get hands-on and learn

• Currently studying or recently graduated
