Manufacturing Product Engineer-Principal
Position Overview
As a Manufacturing Product Engineer at MACOM Technology Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful transition of semiconductor products from design to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, process engineering, and quality assurance, to optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement to meet production goals and maintain product quality.
Responsibilities
- Support RF Test Engineering and Product Engineering groups to assure technical, cost, and schedule goals are met for implementation of new product test solutions and continuous improvement activities.
- Support Manufacturing OSAT and in-house Operations with RF Engineering expertise and problem solving skills to solve challenges associated with production RF and Millimeter wave testing.
- Coordinating cross-functional engineering activities as a technical for new product releases and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform yield analysis and hold meetings of the project team to review findings.
- Lead, participate in, and facilitate continuous improvement efforts related to engineering development, test readiness, production readiness, and other engineering related topics.
- Develop and manage production Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data collection and reporting for RF test and assigned programs. Drive improvements in production performance metrics.

Qualifications
- BSEE or related degree Engineering. MSEE is a plus.
- Eight (8) years minimum experience as Product or Test Engineer in the RF/microwave semiconductor field. Experience with both Packaged test and Circuit Probe is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data using sound statistical methodology and effectively present technical information.
- Experience with engineering and quality requirements for integrated RF/Microwave assemblies.
- Strong RF/microwave test and measurement skill is highly desired.
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, including written and verbal English proficiency.
- Experience in scripting (Python, JMP etc).
