Job Purpose
The Factory Nurse provides occupational health services to employees, ensuring compliance with Taiwan's labor health regulations and promoting a safe and healthy workplace. This role focuses on preventive health care, emergency response, and health risk management within industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
Health Management & Compliance
- Implement health management programs in accordance with the bOccupational Safety and Health Act/b and related enforcement rules.
- Conduct bpre-employment physical examinations/b and bannual health checks/b for employees, as mandated by law.
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality.
Workplace Health Services
- Provide bfirst aid and emergency care/b for workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Monitor working conditions and support ergonomic assessments to prevent occupational diseases.
Health Education & Training
- Deliver health education sessions on topics such as bdisease prevention, stress management, and maternal health protection/b.
- Participate in bmandatory safety and health training programs/b for labor health service nursing personnel, as required by Taiwan's regulations.
Risk Assessment & Prevention
- Collaborate with EHS teams to identify health risks related to chemical exposure, noise, and workload-induced illnesses.
- Support programs for bworkload-triggered illness prevention/b and bpregnant/nursing employee health management/b.
Regulatory Reporting & Committee Participation
- Participate in the bSafety & Health Committee/b meetings to review health management plans and occupational disease prevention measures.
- Assist in compliance audits and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- bEducation:/b Registered Nurse license in Taiwan; specialization in occupational health preferred.
- bTraining:/b Completion of bOccupational Safety and Health Education and Training/b for labor health service nursing personnel.
- bSkills:/b
- Knowledge of Taiwan's labor health regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Strong communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
